The Creature from the Bear Lagoon is Bearbury Lane’s camp queer twist on the classic 1950s creature feature. Beneath a glowing full moon, a rugged, bearded lagoon creature rises from the swamp carrying his handsome discovery from the shore.

The artwork is packed with gloriously over-the-top movie-poster details including “He came from the lagoon to steal your heart!” and “Beware — handsome and hungry!”

Inspired by hand-painted vintage B-movie cinema posters, the design combines deep swamp greens, moonlit blues, aged typography and classic monster-movie drama. On the black tee, the dark outer areas blend naturally into the fabric, avoiding the hard rectangular look of a conventional poster print.
